Skip DeBusk - Photographer

Skip DeBusk has been working as a professional photographer since 2008.  He began following his passion for photography from behind the camera in high school as a yearbook photographer in the early 1990's.  Skip is a creative person withh an artistic background, member of the National Art Honor Society, that he draws on for developing an artistic value to his photographs.

Skip DeBusk Photography offers professional photography services for family sessions, high school seniors, events, and sports.

He broke out to do work as a freelance photographer where is a member of the National Press Photographers Association and the International Press Photographers Association.  He launched Omaha Freelancer in 2016 to begin working for companies, media outlets, and politicians.  Some of his clients include Breaking Dawn Balloon Flights, TransCanada, Congressman Don Bacon, and KETV News Watch 7.

While deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Master Sergeant DeBusk took more than 4,000 photographs while traveling around Iraq. Several of his photographs were published in military publications.

Skip's photographs have also been published in the Omaha World-Herald, Holt County News, Gretna Breeze, KETV - Omaha, KMTV - Omaha, KPTM Fox42 - Omaha, Tilden Citizen, and featured on The Weather Channel and Good Morning America.

When not behind the camera, Skip enjoys spending time with his wife Kyle, daughter Kinley and son Nathan.
